First impressions are important

I've never understood how in the pokemon world, all of the pokemon masters are sent out at around 10 y/o, without any supervision.
And although I understand that this particular theme has already been addressed many times in comics, I haven't seen any where the pokemon submits itself due to sheer cuteness factor.

So I finally thought of a name for this gardevoir that is now a reoccurring character.
And what better way to introduce a pokemon's name than with the scene of it being captured?
His name is Gleam. Nicknamed Gleem. His trainers name is Milly. Of course, my current persona. No big surprise there.

He doesn't stay in the bin for long. She takes him out the same day cause her mother tells her to.
Milly never did become a proper trainer after that. Gleam is her only Pokemon.
